Spring 2017

6 May - 14 May 2017

The spring collection this year includes work by several artists new to the gallery, including Delphine Hogarth who is based in Paris, Ellen Merchant who is graduating from St. Martins, Melanie Goemans, already a well-established artist whose beautiful ethereal paintings caught our eye, and Anthony Bacon from Cornwall with his wonderful primitive timeless scenes.

We have some beautiful ceramics by gallery favourites Kerry Edwards and Laurance Simon and new pieces by Claudia Rankin. We will also have new ceramics by Claudia Rankin amongst others.

Very sadly this is the last time Chloe Lamb will showing with the gallery, as from 2018 she will be represented by the Portland Gallery. Oliver Akers-Douglas is returning with six new landscapes, so there is much to see and many paintings that will not be on the website, so a visit is essential!

Testimonials

The antithesis of the some of the rather sterile London galleries where people talk in hushed tones and all eyes are on you as you enter, at Josie Eastwood Fine Art, paintings are hung in a light-drenched barn and are dotted around Josie’s kitchen and drawing room. You can wander, coffee in hand, not feeling under pressure but knowing that Josie is happy to give advice if it’s wanted.

Don’t be fooled. This isn’t a regional backwater, Josie exhibits some important contemporary artists along with newly discovered talent.
