The £14m Chelsea art house with a fish tank wall between dining room and loo
6th September 2015
I don’t sell paintings to match curtains. I sell paintings, then help people find the right room to hang them. Our own house used to double as a gallery, so we got used to hanging and rehanging paintings at regular intervals. That brought home the need for balance and symmetry when displaying paintings. Get it right and it can have a transformative effect on an entire home.
It is fabulous to work with Josie, who understands interiors and the placement of art to complement an interior design project. My clients have been extremely happy with the variety of beautiful pieces that Josie has selected for various projects. She has a talent for choosing new and exciting artists, and it is always a great pleasure to visit the gallery in Hampshire, where in a calm atmosphere you can select from a large and varied collection the perfect piece.
