We are excited to have a series of paintings by the young artist Beatrice Hasell-McCosh in our forthcoming exhibition. Beatrice has a rare talent and dedication to her work. We have three large canvases in the show, each the result of working up a series of watercolours, painted as part of a daily routine during lockdown, whilst at home in Lancashire. The fluidity and depth of these works on paper have translated into these expansive textured canvases. They are the sort of paintings that captivate, that command interest, and they deserve a wall all of their own. Her work needs seeing in the flesh, they reveal a love and knowledge of her media.
