Josie Eastwood Fine Art,

Josie Eastwood has been involved in the contemporary art business for over 20 years. She began her career commissioning paintings and finding artwork for an art consultancy, followed by working at Sotheby's, and then on to running a contemporary gallery in central London. For the past 12 years Josie has based her business in Hampshire.
At the Gallery we work tirelessly to uncover new talent and to promote more established names. This enthusiasm is clearly visible at all of the shows, whether they held at the gallery in Hampshire, at major art fairs or in the West End of London. The exhibitions are always fresh and offer an opportunity to acquire fine work by contemporary artists across a broad price range.
Since the inception of the gallery 12 years ago, where paintings were initially exhibited around their home, the gallery now regularly exhibits the work of over 80 artists through group and solo shows. The exhibitions are still hung around Josie's home, a converted range of farm buildings, and more recently in a new dedicated gallery space.
Viewing of exhibitions outside the opening times is by appointment only.

We undertake home visits and regularly give advice on sourcing paintings for specific locations and projects.
'Paintings enhance the character of a room, and really set the tone'. A home visit allows us to get the feel of both the client's taste, and the character and period of their home.
We are also happy to consult on picture hanging and lighting, borne out of visiting too many properties where it seems 'beautiful paintings are neglected, as they are often hung in the wrong place, or where not enough thought has been given to lighting'.
The aim is to find a painting of true merit, that will stand the test of time, and enhance a room.
