Josie Eastwood has worked within the Art World for over 20 years. Having graduated with a Degree in Fine Art, Josie commissioned original artwork for a Corporate Art Company, Project Art, before moving on to work in the British Paintings Department at Sotheby's. This was followed by three years running a contemporary art gallery in Central London. For the past 15 years Josie Eastwood Fine Art has been based in Hampshire, just outside Winchester

Exhibitions are hung around the Eastwood's home, a series of barn conversions, with the intention of showing work in a more relaxed and eclectic environment. During the spring exhibitions sculpture and garden ornaments are also displayed around the grounds.

At the gallery, we work tirelessly to uncover new talent, and to promote established artists that show with us regularly. This enthusiasm for unearthing strong new talent is visible at all the exhibitions, whether they are held at the gallery in Hampshire, at London Art Fairs, or at one man exhibitions in the West End. We aim to keep each exhibition fresh, and to offer work contemporary artists across a broad price range, that you will enjoy living with for many years to come.

In between the published exhibitions, we are happy to undertake visits to clients' houses to help them find the right piece for a given space, be it in the garden or house, a portrait commission or a bronze. Over the past few years we have often worked alongside Interior Designers.

We are also happy to offer advice on picture framing and hanging, as we feel getting it 'right' makes all the difference. So often one sees a painting in the wrong place, either lighting wise or height wise - or just not in the best room for the subject matter or palette. With enough thought given to the positioning of a painting and the feel of a room, it can make the world of difference.

Our aim is to find a painting of true merit, that will stand the test of time and enhance the room it is in.
