Stephanie is a young self-taught artist who has been exhibiting since 2008. Her paintings do not demand attention but occupy their own space with a quiet dignity and beauty. They are sensitive works that tell their own stories and hold their own emotions. She lives and works in Cornwall.

My paintings are continually evolving, starting with a chaotic and spontaneous layering of colour and texture - it's an intrinsic process, a narrative develops within the canvas guiding me to the final image. Inspired by my surroundings, capturing the parts of my life that make me feel most alive. There are always flowers and nature, aspects of simply living and space in my work. Space to think and be - that is Cornwall's influence, providing the space and time to reflect and consider.
