Shirin was born in Persia in 1958, one of six children from a well established family. She studied Fine art in Iran for three years and then at the age of 18, with very little English, came to the UK to continue her artistic studies as a graphic designer.

Shirin took us a career in graphic design, but her passion was always painting and photography. She had several painting exhibitions in London during this time, whilst also having a full family life with her husband Frank, twin daughters and a son.

During the last ten years, Shirin decided that graphic design was no longer the career path she wanted to pursue and turned her attention to painting full time. This decision has lead to enormous success with various solo exhibitions.
